What Octag does with your information.
Octag is in early access. This notice covers the website and Talk to Octag as they work today. Octag AI LLC, Lantana, Florida, runs it. Questions or deletion requests: hello@octagai.com.
When you sign in
Google tells us your name, email address and profile picture. We use them to keep your account and to email you about your Octag number.
What you set up
Your greeting, names, business details, rules and personality settings are saved so Octag can use them on every call.
When you talk to Octag
Your voice is streamed live to Google's Gemini model on Google Cloud, which produces Octag's voice and a written transcript. We do not store the audio. We save the transcript, the message Octag took, the time and length of the talk, and usage counts, and show them in your Calls. Google Cloud's terms say it does not use this data to train its models.
Practice calls without an account
"Call Octag now" on the home page uses an anonymous guest sign-in. Guest accounts are deleted after 30 days. To limit free practice calls, we count calls per network address per day; the counter is kept for that day only.
Calls from other people
When phone numbers open, Octag's first sentence on every call says it is an AI and that the call is recorded and transcribed.
Keeping and deleting
During early access, transcripts are kept until you ask us to delete them. Automatic deletion after 90 days arrives with phone numbers. Email hello@octagai.com from your account's address and we'll delete your account and everything in it.
Who else sees it
Google Cloud and Firebase host Octag and process the data for us. We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
